This Happened in America

Government Health Care is in place through out our country with Medicare and Medicaid, but few people discuss the problems with it. This happened under Oregon’s health care system.

  1. It’s a tragedy. The questions not being answered though:

    1. Emotions aside, is this the case for all cases of such cancer in Oregon or is it that her actual case is very unlikely to respond to the drug? In short: Would the money for it be being poured down the drain.

    2. How well funded is the state program? That is the key question. If it’s an under-funded program then of course it has to make hard decisions. That’s not a symptom of “Government Health Care”, that’s a symptom of “very tight budgets”.

So unless you have answers to those questions, you are deliberately using a video clip to prey upon people’s emotions to advance your agenda. And that’s poor politics. It’s easy to post an emotional Youtube clip.

    Here’s a whole bunch: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=sicko&page=&utm_source=opensearch
